Maxi Dress!

Image
When I first saw this dress on the front page of BurdaStyle June issue I just knew that I had to make one!😍 Even though I haven't a special occasion to wear it yet,  but I think there will always come up something! I started with the upper body, and with 3 layer of fabric I had to keep my tongue right...  I'm trying to show how I'm doing with the hem of the sleeves. First I stitched it once about 5mm and iron it and stitching it once more. The same I'm doing for the hem of the dress. This is how my mother in law has teach me. Voila - Dress is finished! I'm really proud of how it turned out  and I'm looking forward to wear it  on a special event🌸 Burdastyle pattern #121 06/2019

Happy Girl's Dress :)

Image
A Beautiful and Sporty girl need to have a nice summer dress! I think this fancy skateboard jersey was the right choice for such a lovely girl🌸 I bought the new Knipmode magazine for kids, and also the fabric  when I was in the Netherlands together with my sewing friends😊 I have used yellow jersey as a contrast color for the upper part of the dress and I think the bow at the back of the neck is rather cute. She is an adorable girl! 💗     Knipmode for Children 3/2019

Deep V-neck Top!

Image
Hurray - Hurray - it's a holi-holiday! 💥 It's not often that I use a pattern twice,  but I had to give this another try! This is the second fabric with crazy print I bought on the market in the Netherlands. I have combined it with black jersey on top of the sleeves and upper back part, and also as a binding at the end of the sleeves. If you like, you can see the  earlier top here I made the pattern for the shorts, and copy it from a work-out shorts that I like it very much 😉 Burdastyle pattern #117 02/2014

Lady in Red :)

Image
I wanted the "Lady in red" 👗 to show in front so I had to find a pattern which I like. I thought about the jersey dress I made recently and decided to go for the same pattern. The jersey fabric has a good hold and it's soft and great to wear. It's an easy pattern, but sometimes it's the best choice!😉 BurdaStyle pattern #105 05/2010

Tee Shirt with Sleeve Bow :)

Image
This Tee shirt is great for a summer holiday! I love printed fabric and with this fancy lady I just had to buy it 😎 The little bow on the sleeves it a great detail, but it makes the whole outfit softer in a way.. I have a weakness for yellow for the time being, and decided to use yellow jersey for the inner part of the sleeves and as bias around the neck 💛 Burdastyle pattern #118 06/2019

Wrap around..

Image
This is an easy Wrap-Around jacket you can wear if it's a bit cold over a top or a dress. I have used a knitted soft fabric which is transparent, and I had to be carefully when I was cutting and sewing it. My lovely model Helena is also wearing a lace-up top and a satin skirt I made earlier 💫    Ottobre pattern 05/2012  Lace up Top Satin Skirt

Abstract-print Blouse!

Image
Everyone need to have a great Blouse! 💙 These sleeves are just fabulous and it was fun to make them with double cuffed sleeve hem, and I've used small "diamond" buttons 💎 The neckline is a bit deep so I decided to fix it with a single hand stitch at the V-neck. The fabric is bought on a marked in Utrecht in the Netherlands and I'm really happy about it!  Burdastyle pattern #111 06/2019 Thanks BurdaStyle for featuring  My Blouse!
