Our sweet granddauhter loves getting new clothes, espesially dresses💝  I found this fabulous cotton fabric in my stash that I bought to make lining for a coat :)  I started with the upper part and made the collar. I made the skirt and the sleeves, and bought some nice pink buttons. She was so trilled when she got the dress and swirled around😄 BurdaStyle Kids 1/2024

I wanted to surprice our little granddaughter with this dress. The fabric is batic-cotton that I think is very nice. I iron the pleats in place before stitching a seam at the neck. I stitched the invisible zipper in place at the back panels, before I stitched the back-seam. The short sleeves are pleated at the shoulders, and gathered at the hem.  The buttons in front are just for decoration. I made a loop for the button at the back of the neck. I love to wear a cardigan over a dress or a top without sleeves. This is for sure a pattern I'm going to use over again! I have used wool jersey and it's very delicious to wear :) I like that the pattern is a bit curved. To make the shoulder stick in place, I use a special ribbon for jersey as shown, Another tip is to cut just a small jack at the seam and bend it over. Then the seam isn't so thick when top-stitching the hem. The collar is in place. I bought some nice buttons in Copenhagen that was great for the cardigan. I was lucky to have exacly enough fabric to make this blouse  after I made the  Japanese Dress with Gathering .   I found a BurdaStyle pattern from 2008 that I have tried once before. The sides have panels that are gathered. The blouse has zipper in the front. The back panels are gathered as well. This is the panels after the side seams are stitched together. The short sleeves has rubberband in the midle of the hem. The sleeves are stitched in place, - and the collar.  Then I stitched the hem to the inside. 2008 #104 Burda 07/2008

This is a Great pattern from BurdaStyle Februar issue that I wanted to try! I love fabric with printed letters ♥ I have cut both the cotton fabric and lining. First, I stitched the front and the side-front together.  I made the parts for the welt pocket with flaps.   This is my first time trying to make a welt pocket with flap! It's not so easy to see the pockets since the fabric has printed letters. I stitched the collar and the collar-stand together. I also top-stitched both side of the seam. The collar is stitched in place. I stitched the facing for the front parts and around the neck. Then I stitched the sleeves in place. I made "fish-sleeve" for the shoulders. Then I stitched the lining together. I bought some nice buttons at  Selfmade.no The sleeves has buttons as well :) BurdaStyle #120 02/2025
