Birthday Dress!

Image
I love this style with square neck and thought it would be  a great present for Sara as well 🌸 I have made several dresses like this before, and I can't stop making it over and over again.. The fabric is from  Krestoffer.dk The shoulder straps are made in double layer. The straps are connected to the folded line and I have hand stitched the inserts. The sleeve hem and hem for the dress are stitched with a twin needle or cover lock. Burdastyle pattern #108 06/2021

Fluffy dress in my Favorite color! 💙

Happy Dress for Summertime! This is a pattern I have used several times, but this time I have made an alternation.  Instead of three volanges, I have lengthen the first one like the size of two from the pattern. The first Dress  I made of the same pattern was with floral viscose fabric. I started with stitching the front and back part together. I made the sleeves with rubberband at the sleeve hem. Then I stitched the raglan sleeves together with the top. I gathered the neck and stitched the neckband together. I have omitted the tie for the neck and made a button instead. The skirt are finished and then stitched together with the upperpart of the dress. We have a lovely view from our cottage 😊 BurdaStyle #104 07/2021

Birthday Shirt!

Image
I wanted to surprise our son with a new shirt for his birthday 🎉 I order the cotton fabric with logo in Poland for the 50th anniversary for our company. I have made an  Origami Shirt  for our youngest son earlier. This is the pattern for the origami pocket that I made. The pocket is stitched to the left front panel. The collar and the collar stand are stitched together. The collar is stitched around the neck. I made short sleeves for the shirt. This is a tip for sewing the buttons, so it's not too tight. Our son is happy with his birthday present 😉 Stoff og Stil pattern.

Summer Tee and Linen Pants!

Image
This is a Great outfit for a joiful evening! I have made an easy Tee with short sleeves. I have omitted the bow sleeves since I didn't have enough fabric.   I was curious to try making these pants. I have marked the lines for the pleats on the wrong side. This is how it looks like after sewing the pleats together. Then I stitched the side seams and the side pockets. This is the facing for the hem of the pants. I'm happy how the pants turned out,  and I think the Tee looks great together with the pants.
