I'm always curious to try new patterns, and this jacket pattern catched my eyes! I stitched the inserts for the shoulder at the back-, and the inserts for the front panels. Then I stitched the shoulders and the side seams. I stitched the sleeves together, and attatched them to the jacket. Then I stitched the facing around the neck and the sides, with attatching the tie at the front. I decided to cover the edges with a diagonal band. I have used micro-satin as lining for the sleeves, and linen for the rest. I stitched the lining for the sleeves together.  This is the jacket on the wrong side. BurdaStyle #114 07/2025

I made this flowery dress at the end of the summer and I love this beautiful viscose fabric🌺 I have tried the pattern once before when I made the Royal Copenhagen Dress and I like the style very much with the fluffy skirt and the neck-band. Last time I made the dress without sleeves, but this time I had enough fabric :) I started with stitching the front parts together. I stitched the inserts for the back panels. The shoulder- and the side seams are stitched together, and I also gathered the bottom of the front panels.  Then I stitched the tie around the neck, and stitched the facing around the neck. The waistband are stitched to the top. I stitched the flounces to the sleeves, and stitched the sleeves in place. I folded the pleats in place and gathered the skirt. To make the zipper match on both side, I cut notches where the zipper are going to meet.  The zipper are in place, and I hand-stitched the hem. This girl loves to get new clothes!👚👗👖🩳 She has picked out the fabric and colour for her blouse. She wanted a yellow blouse, but since she got  The Yellow Dress  I didn't have more fabric left. At first, I made the ribbon for the neck, and turned it. Then I made the split in front before stitching the facing in place. I had to stitch the sleeves in place before sewing the tunel for the draw-string around the neck. I have also stitched the hem and the sleeve hem with narrow zig-sag stitches.  I stitched the side seam and the sleeves togeether. I had to make a tunel for the rubber-band at the sleeve hem and at the hem. I connected the ribbon to the rubber-band for the neck. She loves the sleeves 💙 BurdaStyle Special 2003
