  I found this fabulous sweatshirt fabric with flossy inside on  Lysthuset.no I think it will be delicious to wear at wintertime❄️ At first, I cut all the parts for the jacket. I started with the pockets, and have stitched a cotton fabric as lining  before stitching the ribbet fabric at the pocket opening. Then the pocket are stitched to the front parts. The shoulder- and side seams are stitched before  I sew the ribbed jersey as a finish for the hem. Since the fabric is very heavy, I cut one part of the seam off, and then stitched the seam flat. The same I had to do for the hoodie. I stitched the hoodie in place before the front zipper. Then the sleeves have to be stitched on the jacket. I also decided to cover the inside zipper. Ottobre Kids pattern 06/2012 In lack of fabric, I had to make two parts for the back panels. Ths pockets are a nice detail that I know she gonna like :) I decided to use the same ribbed fabric for the waistline and for the finish at the leg...

I bought this fabulous melange jersey at  Meretes Atelier Lysthuset and thought it would be great for a jacket and pants for a little girl🩷 At first, I made the jacket. It has side pockets, and zipper in front. I used ribbed jersey around the neck, for the fininsh of the hem and the cuffs. BurdaStyle 05/2018 The pants have back pockets, and I used a template to make round corners. The front panel has no seam in front. I have used rubberband at the waist, but not at the bottom. I had exacly enoug fabric to make a short jacket for a girl after I made my Colorful Fluffy Dress - and this fabric makes me in a Good Mood! The parts are cut out, but since the fabric is rather light I decided to make lining for the jacket as well. I stitched the welt flap to the front part. The pocket parts are stithced close to the pocket line. I cut between the marked line, and pull the pocket parts to the wrong side. Then the pocket is stitched together.  The welt pocket is stitched to the front panel.  The ribbed jersey collar is attached at the neckline. The lining are stitched in place, - and the zipper is attatched. The sporty girl is very happy with her new jacket! 😊 BurdaStyle Kids 03/23
