Sometimes I have to use what is left of the fabric, and I was lucky since it was enough to make a shorts! The shorts has side pockets, and I have stitched a seam close to the inner seamline. I made three tunnels for the waist band,  so I have used both a drawstring and two pieces of rubberband. BurdaStyle pattern from 07/2023

  This is a shorts pattern that I like a lot! The shorts have pleats in front and side pockets,  and it has back-pockets as well. The unvisible zipper are at the left side. The pattern is from BurdaStyle easy 2012, and are still one of my favorite. I've made an  Elephant Shorts  of the same pattern that I'm wearing together with  my top with rubberband. I bought the fabric on my holiday and it was just a small piece, but it was exactly enough to make a pair of shorts. The pleats and the front pockets are stitched in place. Then the incerts and the back pockets are stitched in place. The parts are ready to be sewing together. The back- and front parts are stitched together, and then the botgh legs are stitched together. The waist band are stitched on both panels before sewing the invisible zipper in place. Then the side seams are stitched together and the facing for the waist-band. At last I stitched the hem, and I also stitched a seam to fasten the waist-band. I...

I was happy that I had enough fabric to make s pair of shorts after I made  my Blazer . This is a pattern that I have used several times before,  but if you like, you can see an earlier post when I made a  Shorts for summer . I started with making the front side pockets. Then I made the zipper fly. The back pocket flaps are just for decoration,  but I have made button-holes and used a jeans snap fastener. Burda Easy summer 2009 I have used the blazer  a lot since it can be worn together with many colours.

I was very happy with my first  Training Outfit , so I decided to make another one. This time I made a shorts instead of leggings.  The pattern is from BurdaStyle 07/23. The upper front is stritched together. I have stitched a seam close to the edge around the neck for the inner-layer. Both the front and the back are made of double layer. The upper-part is finished, - and stritched together with the lower part. BurdaStyle pattern #126 07/2023 I made a shorts as well.  BurdaStyle pattern #114 07/2023 - and a Top with short sleeves. I wanted to challenge my self and try a new pattern style! I have the 3 Japanese Drape-Drape books from Hisako Sato which are very interesting.  The pattern are rather big since it has a lot of draping and pleats. The shorts looks very nice with the draping of the sides. It has rubber-band at the hem of the legs. Then you also can pull the legs up and use it as a mini-skirt 😉 The  Top with Heads  is from an earlier project. Pattern from Drape Drape 3 by Hisako Sato. 😅😅😅
