Ellen's Sewing Passion

 This is a fabric I found in a local fabric shop in my city Haugesund. I love this kind of blue color and it's so refreshing! I wanted to use a pattern that I really like, and I have made a  Red Dress with Collar   earlier, and also a  Denim Dress  of the same pattern. This time I have top-stitched the pleats, and I think it was a good idea. If you look closer for the short sleeves, you will see the special pleats at the shoulders.  My husband and me on our holiday. Pattern from Meine Namode 04/2011.

  I made a summer top for this lovely girl 😍 I was lucky to have a piece lerft of this wonderful fabric  after I made the  Square neck Dress  for myself. This is a great pattern for a top with short sleeves for a girl. I found the pattern in Burda easy Kids 01/22. The neck- and the waist band are bought at  Selfmade Burda Easy Kids 01/2022

It's great to play at the beach wearing a new T-shirt :)  I love fabric with printed letters and this was a piece I had left after I made  a dress of the same fabric. I chose to use a contrast colour for the ribbon around the neck. I also made an easy shorts that's nice to wear together with the T-shirt. Pattern from Ottobre Kids. This is a dress I made a few years ago.

 Wearing a Flower-Dress in Summertime makes you in a Good Mood 😉 I decided to make a dress with jersey fabric of the same pattern that I used  when I made the  Green Dress  of woven fabric earlier. The jersey is a bit steady, so I think it worked out well. The A-line skirt is flaring and I think the cap-sleeves  and curvy princess seams makes it very nice. I decided to turn one of the pattern piece for saving fabric. I had to start with the upperpart so I could make the facing for the neck. I have used vliseline for the facing and stitched very close to the seam. Ta-da, the dress is finished! The neck is rather wide, but it's nice with the cap-sleeves. I made a zipper at the back, but it turned out that I didn't need to use it 😊 BurdaStyle #114-115 06/2022

This is an easy Top to sew, but the bow of the sleeve hem makes it special :) The fit is very nice and I have made a Blue  top earlier. I have used a soft cotton jersey that are a bit transparent in the dark flowers.                 BurdsStyle pattern #119 07/2019

I have used a lovely pattern from Burda Easy for kids to make this dress. I had exactly enough fabric after I made my  Fluffy Dress . It's always nice when you can make something of leftovers.    This is a happy girl and she loves to wear the dress 😍 The dress has a slit at the back with a button. The sleeves are very nice with the gathering. Sister and brother are having a great time together! Burda Easy Kids 01/2022
