TR ROSE 🌹

Image
This was the last challange of the my TR Course with Shingo Sato. If you like, you can see my  TR Collection  post. I started with making a hole in the front.  Then formed a "rose blade" with a layer of fabric and tape it to the body.  Then I made a several "rose blade" with drawing it first before cut it out and sculture it.    The pattern for the rose is finished and I'm drawing the lines so I can see where to cut it out.  The pattern is cut to pieces and I have to mark it very exact. I start sewing from the middle with the inner "rose blade" first. Then you can see how it looks like on the wrong side as well. The rose is finished and ready to get a skirt for a dress! I was lucky and got my TR Master Certificate!

Refashion in Blue Shades 💎

Image
When I have a spare time I just love to encourage myself        with some "new" refashion 😄 I have used a top and a dress together with sleeves from a jacket that I love. This is how I cut the dress apart. I have made a  Refashion Dress  of the jacket with blue skirts earlier. I sew the inserts for the shoulders first before connecting the sleeves. This is definitiv a dress that I'm gonna wear a lot! 💙

A Sweater became a Skirt! 💛

My lovely model and singing Star Torhild ♪♫ The skirt is made of a wool sweater turned up-side-down with a rubberband at the waist. The  Refashion Top  is from an earlier project.  The yellow sleeves have been used to make  Another Dress  ðŸ’› These are the garments I have used to make the twin-set. Very simle, but stylish 💫 Torhild on the Catwalk 😉

Refashion with Stripes!

Refashion is a lot of FUN 😄 Sometimes I just have to "clean up" in my wardrobe, and then I always find garments that I haven't been wearing for a long time. Then it's time to give them a "New Life"! I found a blue tank top and a sweater with stripes and thought they could  be a good match together. The sweater was great for a skirt, and I kept the sleeves.  I only made them shorter and gathered them a bit at the shoulders.  A dress with pockets is nice, so I cut curves and made pockets for the front part. At first I made small pleats at the front skirt panel, but then it wasn't so good so I ripped them apart and made it without the pleats. I missed a pop-up color, so I found a lemon stretch jersey for the waistline.  I also made a litte yellow collar for the top. Then it's a perfect dress for spring, when the weather is getting warmer ☼
