Ellen's Sewing Passion

  This is a fancy pattern from BurdaStyle that is knotted in front, but you can also wear it with putting the fabric into the skirt/pants. The pattern has only 4 panels so you don't need a lot of fabric. The lovely fabric is bought at  Stoffdronning.no The side seams are stitched together and then the under collar. I usually use the vliseline for the upper-collar,  but in the pattern instruction it says for the under-collar. The collar is stitched together. The sleeves have rubber-band at the lower part.   The sleeves are 3/4 long. I found a nice flower-button in my stash🌸 BurdaStyle 04/2013 We are enjoying an outdoor consert in Lazienki park in Warsaw.

I've made another dress for my lovely niese. This is the same pattern as I have used for my  Zebra knotted Dress . The right front part is stitched together with leaving a little hole as opening for turning  the other half part of the top through the hole, and then stitched together at the seam. The invisible zipper is stitched in place with leaving the slit at the hem open. The facing is stitced together at the shoulders at the shoulder seam line. You can choose if you like to stitch the opening at the front together a bit, so it's not so loose,  BurdaStyle pattern #118 03/2020

Orange and Pink are fabulous together! I fell in love with the fabrik when I came over it in my home town 💕 I decided to use a knotted pattern dress. I have made this pattern earlier  for a holiday dress. The left picture shows how the front part is before it's knotted. -and this is when it's turned and stitched together. This is a great top for my sister in law 💛 The sleeves are made of dobble layer and knottet. I chose to use yellow as lining for the sleeves and as bias around the neck, and I think it was a great match for the printed fabric. She suits the top very well, and I think she looks Happy to wear it😊 BurdaStyle pattern #118 06/2019

My sister in law is wearing a Top I have posted earlier and I think it suits her very well 🧡 The top has a finish with knotted sleeve hem and the back neck is deeper that in front. The flower fabric makes you in a good mood and is great to wear on holiday ☼ BurdaStyle pattern #119 07/2018
