TR Dress with Embroidery & Ruffles!

Image
This is another challenge I made for the TR course that I attended on the web  hosted by Shingo Sato. I couldn't leave the front panel in a drawer, so I decided to make a dress. This is the same pattern as I used to make the  TR Dress with Stripes This is how the finished challenge should look like. I decided to to adjust the neck and the arm holes.  I inserted one of my embroidery that I have made on the sewing machine on the back ♪♫ The short sleeves are stitched on the top  and I have inserted rubberband at the shoulders. I have also inserted rubberband at the sleeve hem and inserted an invisible zipper  at the left side, and gathered the first ruffle.

Denim dress with TR-Rose 🌹

This is the last challenge I had on my TR-Course hosted by Shingo Sato. Since I had this lovely front part I decided to make a dress. I have used denim with a little elastic. If you like, you can see how I made the  TR-Rose . I made two pleats at the sleeve shoulders that is a nice detail as well. I made an opening with button-holes for the upper back part,   and I have used cotton voile as lining that is very delicious to wear.  The skirt for the dress is made with two frills,  and I have an invisible zipper at the left side. I'm very happy how the dress turned out! :)

TR ROSE 🌹

This was the last challange of the my TR Course with Shingo Sato. If you like, you can see my  TR Collection  post. I started with making a hole in the front.  Then formed a "rose blade" with a layer of fabric and tape it to the body.  Then I made a several "rose blade" with drawing it first before cut it out and sculture it.    The pattern for the rose is finished and I'm drawing the lines so I can see where to cut it out.  The pattern is cut to pieces and I have to mark it very exact. I start sewing from the middle with the inner "rose blade" first. Then you can see how it looks like on the wrong side as well. The rose is finished and ready to get a skirt for a dress! I was lucky and got my TR Master Certificate!
