My lovely friend sings like an Angel! ♪♫ She had a wonderful performance at my birthday party 💗 - and I promiced that I would make a dress for her. I hope she will be happy when wearing it!  I started with making the split at the front. The sleeves are pleated and gathered in the middle, both at the top and at the wrist. This shows the upper part of the sleeve. The dress are gathered at the lower side-panels as well. I gathered the top of the sleeves and around the neck,  and stitched the neck-band in place. I think my friend looks amazing in her new dress💕 I made a tie-band for the neck as well. The sleeve-band is hand-stitched in place on the wrong side.  I also hand-stitched the neck-band in place at the inside. BurdaStyle pattern #114 06/2018 We enjoy the nice summer evening together ☼

I think my sister in law looks lovely in the dress I've made 💙  I have used the same pattern once before and made a  Satin Dress but I prefer a fabric with a bit stretch. The dress is made of jersey blend bought at  Alfatex.de . The dress is gathered under the bust, and I have used woven ribbon on top  of the gathering as a decoration, and the straps are made of the same ribbon. I have used the same pattern once before, but then I made it in satin.  I have to say that it's better in jersey because it's easier to move :)  BurdaStyle pattern #117 05.2008

  This is a short sleeve jacket I made for a member model challenge  hosted by BurdaStyle,  and luckily I was the winner of the contest!  My lovely model and singing friend is wearing it with style 💕  The jacket is made of Chinese brocade and bought on the website  Alfatex.de We were praticing for our Christmas consert with our choir.   My niece wanted to have a new dress for her holiday. She bougt different fabric, and decided to have a jersey wrap dress. I used the pattern I found in BurdaStyle 03/2022 that has gathered shoulders and elastic at the sleeve hem. I have adjusted the shoulders since they a bit wide. I think my niece looks fabulous in her new dress 🌸 I decided to make pockets at the side seams as well. BurdaStyle pattern #105 03/2022

My lovely niece is wearing a jersey dress that I've made💖 This is a great pattern, and I have used it once before when I made a  Birthday Dress . Since the dress is made of jersey I have not used lining, just a double layer for the upper part. I love the square neck and it's easy to use whatever color you like underneath the dress.
