Blouse with Bat sleeves!

Image
I found the pattern in BurdaStyle July Magazine, and thought it would be  great for this nice cotton fabric bought at Stoffdronning.no   This is a pattern that catched my eyes, and bat-sleeves are great! I stitched the button list to the front panels.   I had to stitch the inserts at the back before stitching the back-panels together.   The shoulder- and the side-seams are stitched together, and the pleats at the sleeve hem are stitched in place. I made the collar with collar-stand for the blouse, and stitched it around the neck. I made button holes for at the button-list. Then the cuffs had to come. I used my lovely diamonds as buttons! Blouse with wide sleeves!

I had a bit left of this wonderful viscose fabric after I made a  Dress in my Favorite fabric  ! I was happy that I had enough to make a blouse :) I have cut all the parts. The back parts are stitched together. I made the opening for the front and stitched it to the lover part. The sleeves are gathered. The shoulder seams are stitched. The collar is stitched together with the collar-stand. Then stitched around the neck. The sleeves are stitched together with the cuffs, and to the shoulders. Then the side- and the sleeve seams are stitched. - and the blouse is finished :) BurdaStyle pattern #101 02/2008

Cotton Voile Blouse 🌼

I bought this lovely Liberty cotton voile at Skipper Stoffer in Copenhagen. It's very soft and delicious to wear. I deceided to make a blouse and found a pattern that I have used once before  when I made an  Abstract print Blouse . At first, I cut out all the parts. I have iron vliseline for both the insert at front and the finish for the sleeves. I stitched the upper-part for the neck, and turned it.  These parts are stitched around the opening at the front. Then I stitched the shoulder seams and the neck-band. The sleeve has a lot of pleats that are stitched together. The split for the sleeves are stitched in place. This is how it lookslike. I attatched the sleeve-bands and turned them to the inside, and hand-stitched them in place. The sleeves are attached to the blouse, and the blouse is finished. BurdaStyle pattern #111 06/2019

Blouse with lots of Flowers! 🌸

It's not often that I use Patrones pattern,  but I found this magazine when we were visiting Germany. I love this beautiful viscose, and it was the last piece I had left after I made my Flowery Dress .  At first, I stitched the shoulders and the sides together. I made a yok for the inside as well,  even though it was not in the instruction. The collar is stitched together,  and the collar stand. The collar is stitched in place and also the short sleeves. The blouse was a great match for my  Orange Skirt  :) Patrones pattern 02/2024
