Peppa Pig Dress 🐷

Image
This is a dress I'm sure the little princess gonna love🐷💓 She is very found of Peppa pig :) I have cut the parts of the fabric, but I had to combine it with  white linen fabric for one of the layers.  I started withe the slits at the front opening. Then I stitched the collar in place, before I stitched the short sleeves and the skirt on the dress. Then the dress is finished. Burdastyle Kids 01/2024

Dress with African print 🦓🦒🐘

Image
This african print catched my eyes, and I thought it would be nice for childrens clothes :) I decided to make a dress for our granddaughter, and found a pattern in a Patrones magazine.   The dress has a phone-pocket and that was a new detail I had not tried to make before. The upper part is asymmetric, and therefore the skirt is asymmetric as well. Instead of a double layer of fabric I made a facing for the neckline and the armholes.  I stitched the princess seams and the side seams before stitching the facing in place. I attached the skirt and the phone-pocket. I have tried to show how the phone pocket is when it's flat and open. The phone-pocket is on the left-handside. The dress is finished, and I hope our 3-years granddaughter will love it😊 Patrones extra 04/2014

Jersey Dress with printed Animals 🐁🪿🐌

Image
I bought this cute fabric at  Rainbowfashion.no and I was sure that our granddaughter would like it :) I have used the same pattern as I did for the  Christmas present . Since I made the dress with jersey, I have omited the pleats at the front. I started with making a split at the back of the neckline. I cut it open, and turned it to the backside, and then stitched around the split. The short sleeves are pleated at the shoulders and gathered at the sleeve hem. I stitched a ribbon of the same fabric around the neck. The dress has an A-form that the girl likes :) Ottobre Kids pattern 06/2011

Baby's Romper with Airplanes ✈️

I made this romper for our sweet grandson for Christmas. Together with these parts I had to cut the wrist- and leg ribbon.  The zipper has to come. I also made a double layer of fabric around the neck. Ottobre kids pattern.

Colorful Dress for a Sweetie!

Our sweet granddauhter loves getting new clothes, espesially dresses💝  I found this fabulous cotton fabric in my stash that I bought to make lining for a coat :)  I started with the upper part and made the collar. I made the skirt and the sleeves, and bought some nice pink buttons. She was so trilled when she got the dress and swirled around😄 BurdaStyle Kids 1/2024
