  Since I had more left of this wonderful jersey after I made the Tee with Butterflies , I had enough fabric to make a top for our little granddaughter. At first, I gathered the flounce, - and stitched it together with the upper part. I stitched the hem for the sleeve flounces, and stitched it to the top. Then I made the neck-band and stitched the hem to the inside. Our granddaughter love to wear the top 💞 BurdaStyle Kids 01/2024

Butterflies are "Girl's best Friend" 🤗 This is a great fabric I bought at Selfmade.no    I decided I wanted to surprice this lovely girl with a dress with ruffles,  and she was very Happy when she got it!  I started sewing the bias around the neck. I also stitched the sleeve hem before sewing the sleeves to the dress. The top is finished and ready to have a skirt. After gathering the flounce for the skirt I'm using the overlock  and stitching invisible elastic over the seam. I'm streching the elastic when sewing. This is the kind of elastic I'm using.   This is a lovely tunic for my sister in law💖 The tunic is ruched at the front with rubberband that gives a nice effect. Both the V-neck and the finish of the sleeves are made with a double layer of fabric cut on bias. My sister in law is wearing a red pencil skirt that's great together with the colorful tunic. BurdaStyle pattern #104 05/2010 My little brother wanted to join :)

This is a lovley fabric with Butterflies that was perfect to make a dress for this young Princess! The fabric is a bit transparent, but it's delicious to wear on a hot summer day! I made the front piece with the straps first,  before connecting it to the A-line skirt for the dress. She is very happy to play with her uncle on her birthday 😊 You can see the transparens between the butterflies. I had some nice butterfly-buttons that was perfect for the dress 😊

This Sweet girl loves Butterflies 🦋 She pointed out the fabric and said she wanted to have a blouse! Of course her "grandmother" had to make one! I found the pattern in Ottobre kids, and it's very easy to make. The blouse has rubberband at the sleeve-hem and around the neck. Ottobre pattern 03/2021.

This is a lovely jersey with colorful Butterflies! I decided to make a dress for this sweet girl 💖 She knew how the dress should look like, so I have combine two different BurdaStyle patterns. The dress has rubberband both around the neck, sleeves and waist. She wanted to have a dress with wide neck,  but I had to use rubberband to make it stay in place. She like very much to bicycle, and she is enjoying the wonderful view!   I have combine these BurdaStyle patterns.
