  Birthday present for a Sweetie! 💙 She was looking in my stash and found a little piece of this transparent ans sparkling fabric. I had exactly enough to make a skirt and a top with a little sparkling fabric at the front.

I found this lovely linen fabric in a new place I have'nt tried before. The fabric is produced in Lithuania, but bought it on the web  linhjem.com The dress pattern is from BurdaStyle 04/2019. The pattern is very simple wiht buttons in frond, collar-stand and a flounce at the hem. The flounce are very long.. The short sleeves are integrated,  I made a belt of the same fabric as well. I'm very happy howe the dress turned out :) BurdaStyle pattern #120 04/2019.

This is a dress pattern I just had to try!💜 I found the fabric at  selfmade.com   It's a very soft viscose fabric that floats very nicely.  I started with marking and ironing the small pleats before stitching the lines together, both on the back and the front panels.  I have marked the line for the facing in front. Then ironing inserts for the facing, and overlock it. The facing is stitched in place and cut in the middle for the slits. This is the collar when I have gathered the fastening seam. The short sleeves are very special, and it's the first time I make sleeves like this. The tie for the neck is in place and the sleeves as well. I have sewn the skirt panels together, so the final thing is to stitch the upper part and the skirt together. I had to upgrade the dress with a hat that I love 👒 BurdaStyle pattern #119 04/2023

  I made this top as a birthday present for a lovely girl 🎁 She loves everything that is sparkling,  so I have used small sparkling stones as decoration for the neck.  The lover part is gathering to match the top. I have used lining of cotton voile for the lower part so it's comfortable to wear.  The sparkling stone is a "must" and I'm sure she's gonna like it :) Ottobre Kids 

Butterflies are "Girl's best Friend" 🤗 This is a great fabric I bought at Selfmade.no    I decided I wanted to surprice this lovely girl with a dress with ruffles,  and she was very Happy when she got it!  I started sewing the bias around the neck. I also stitched the sleeve hem before sewing the sleeves to the dress. The top is finished and ready to have a skirt. After gathering the flounce for the skirt I'm using the overlock  and stitching invisible elastic over the seam. I'm streching the elastic when sewing. This is the kind of elastic I'm using.
