Newborn Babygirl Outfit💗

Image
I made an outfit for our newborn granddaughter💗 This is the shirt and I have stitched the raglan sleeves together with the back- and the front panels. This is the pants with foot. I have stitched a double layer of the same fabric with the coverlock mashine. I made a ribbon for the opening for the wrap-shirt. At first, I had to stitched the front panel together with the front pieces of the foot. Then I stitched the back panel together with the front before stitching the bottom of the foot in place. At last, I stitched the double waistline together with the pants.  BurdaStyle 01/2024

Baby's outfit!

I made an outfit for our new grandson! 🥰🩵 This is the pieces for the shirt, - and for the pants, and the little hat :) At first, I stitched the sleeves tohether with the front- and back parts. I stitched the ribbet jeresey around the edges. The shirt is closed with a ribbon under the sleeve.  I made an easy pair of pants with foots that is nice when you are very small.  The hat is stitched made in two layers. Then stitched tohether with a layer in the middle. I made an opening for turning. Then it's finished :) BurdaStyle 01/2024

Sparkling Stripes!

Image
I bought this sparkling jersey in Copenhagen! I thought it would be a great choice for a young girl. I had to stitch the sides together before the hem. I have used vliseline for the facing. The hem for the cap-sleeves are stitched as well. I stitched the seam at the front, and stitched the edges to each side for the draw-string. Then I stithced the facing in place, and top-stitched around the square neck before stitching the cap-sleeves in place. She loves jumping on the trampoline :) BurdaStyle #125 05/2024

Denim Jacket! 💙

Image
This is a pattern I was curious to try when I first saw it in BurdaStyle for September. I have always wanted to make a denim jacket, and the sleeve makes it very unique! The skirt is from an earlier post:  Think Pink  💗 As you can see, the sleeves is rather cool :) I stitched the inserts for the front parts. Then I had to stitch the shoulder and the side-seams together. The pocket flaps is top-stitched and button holes in place. I stitched the button-lists, the facing and the hem in place. The collar and the button-holes are made. Then I stitched the sleeves together, and made the opening for the cuffs. I top-stitched the seams before stitching the sleeves together. Then the sleeves are stitched in place. I'm Super Happy how the jacket turned out 😄 I used patent buttons for the jacket. BurdaStyle pattern #111 09/2024
