I fell in love with this pattern, and wanted to make the dress for a birthday girl💖 I have used denim linen that are very soft an delicious to wear. I stitched the pockets for the front parts first. Then the front parts are stitched together, and also top-stitched. The zipper is stitched in place at the back seam. The flounces are stitched at the top of the shoulders, and I made to layers of flounces. Then I had to make the facing for the upper part. The facing are stitched around the arm-holes and around the neck. Then the side seams are stitched, and the dress is finished :) She is a Cutie and loves to play 😊 The hem for the flounces are stitched with narrow zig-zag. Ottobre kids 01/2024

I love to wear wool this time of year! Even though I'm longing for the spring to come😊  This is a fabulous wool jersey I bought at  Lysthuset.no The fabric can be used on both sides, so it's double wowen. I decided that I wanted to make an easy dress and found this pattern that I had  from BurdaStyle 01/2019. The dress has side pockets and a little turtle neck. Instead of sewing an invisible zipper I made a split at the neck with hooks. Since the fabric is stretchy it's easy to take the dress on and off. BurdaStyle pattern #111 01/2019  

This is one of the most special dresses I've made! 😅 I started with the front part and made the origami as shown. The skirt pattern with the fancy pockets is from BurdaStyle.    I made the pattern with the 3D triangle first, then I draw the lines where the foldings should be. This is the pattern when it is folded out. Front part is finished. The skirt is made with pleats and pockets. I inserted some filling for the triangle to make it stay in place.   BurdaStyle #104 10/2016

I have to tell that this is a pattern I fell in love with a long time ago.. The problem is that I didn't have the time to try it that time, and suddenly I recognized the pattern in my "library" that are really huge... 😅 and wanted to give it a try! I started to make the inserted pockets as shown below. The finish of the sleeves was quite special with pleats and gathering, but I like it! The collar was cut in a half circle and gather at the inside of the neck,  so it is rather big, more like a statement collar. I'm very happy with the sweater so I will probably wear it a lot 😊 You can see how I cut the pocket open.         This is after sewing the pocket together.
