Darted Jersey Dress!

Image
It's a while since I've tried this pattern, but I like it a lot. I made it in Green Shade last time. The sculptor collar makes the dress unique :) I bought this nice denim jersey, and I thought it would be great for this pattern. I stitched the darts for the front parts, and stitched the front seam together. Then I stitched the darts fro the upper and lower part of the back. The zipper are stitched in place. Then I stitched the side seams,  - and the sleeves. The collar are stitched to the dress, and the inner collar are folded to and stitched to the inside.  BurdaStyle pattern #111 08/2017 Visiting Poland :)

Gathered Sleeves for my Friend 🧡

This is a pattern that I was very curious to try, and I have made  Another  in a blue color earlier. I look rather crazy at the picture, but it's very nice.  The only thing that is not so good is when you are having a meal  or it's not a good idea to use when cooking 😉   BurdaStyle pattern #115 08/2018

Wool Top with Looong Sleeves!

Image
This is a pattern I have tried several times before, and I like it a lot! This time I wanted to make it in light wool, so it's very comfy to wear this time of year :) If you like, you can see  Another version  I made earlier. I gathered the front panel on both sides as in the instruction. The side panel are attached. I have iron vliseline for the facing around the neck. I stitched an inner-seam around the neck as well, so the facing should stay in place. This is how it looks like after the gathering. I made very long and double cuffs because that's what I like, spesially in wintertime. I'm very happy with the outcome💗 I used invisible rubberband on top of the gathering, so it will stay in place. Animal print Blouse!

I was curious, and had to try this blouse pattern from BurdaStyle August magazine :) The sleeves are rather long becouse of the folded line. I started with sewing the inserts, both for the front- and back panels. Then I stitched the shoulder- and side seams. I made the chinese collar, - and stitched the collar to the blouse. I hand-stitched the inner-collar in place. I iron on the folded line for the sleeves, and made the tunnel for the rubberband. I had to tighten the rubber-band for my hand wrist. I'm very happy with the outcome :) BurdaStyle 08/2025
