Knotted Blouse 🎀

Image
I found this net jersey in my stash and wanted to make a blouse. Since the fabric is transparent I made the upper front- and back-part in double layer, then I don't need to have a singlet underneath. It's always a challenge with such fabric, but hopefully I managed. I have used cover-buttons for the cuffs. BurdaStyle pattern #119 08/2013

Shirt & Shorts!

I had a little left of the jersey fabric with stripes in my stash  and thought it was great to combine with denim jersey. As a finish for the sleeves I made cuffs of a double layer of green ribbed jersey,  and the same jersey as a finish around the neck. The shorts is made of heavier jersey and I thought it was nice to combine  with green jersey for the waistline and the back pocket.  Both Pattern from Ottobre Kids.

Jersey Top with Square neck!

Viscose jersey is Great for a top like this! 😊  I have used the same pattern as I used for my Dress.   It's an easy top to make if you like the squae neck. The shoulder pieces are made with a double layer,  so it's just the front and back neck that you have to stitch in place. For my earlier projects with this patten I have handstitch the neck in place.  BurdaStyle #108 06/21

This is a pattern I have used several times, but I still like it a lot! It's a perfect dress for summer since it's very fluffy with the gathered skirt. I started to make the slit in front and then sew the front- and backpart together. I finished the sleeves before sewing them toghether with the top. The sleeve hem is gathered with a rubber-band at the hem. Then I made the skirt with the three fluffy parts. When I use woven viscose fabric it's easy to rip apart the layers for the skirt and then they became very exact. The last dress I made of this pattern was wirh  Flower Sprinkles for Autumn . I made the split in front at first and then the side seams.   The sleeves are finished with the rubber-band at the hem. The sleeves where attached and the neck was gathered and then I was sewing the neckband. This is the layers for the skirt with side seams.  I have gathered the layers and sewn together. The dress is finished and it's comfy to wear 😊 The skirt for the dress is pe
