Girl's Blouse for holiday 🌸

Image
I had a little fabric left after I made a blouse earlier, and it's a very nice cotton fabric. I had to cut the button list as a separate part. I also had to cut small parts, and stitch together for the collar. At first, I stitched the buttonlist at the front parts, then the shoulders- and side seams. I stitched the collar together, and stitched it in place. I top-stitched the collar and the front, and made button-holes for the butons. Patrones Extra no.36 04/2014 BurdaStyle pattern #125 05/2010

Colorful Dress for a Sweetie!

Our sweet granddauhter loves getting new clothes, espesially dresses💝  I found this fabulous cotton fabric in my stash that I bought to make lining for a coat :)  I started with the upper part and made the collar. I made the skirt and the sleeves, and bought some nice pink buttons. She was so trilled when she got the dress and swirled around😄 BurdaStyle Kids 1/2024

X-mas Dress with Spiral petal 💖

The dress is based on the same BurdaStyle pattern as I used for my  Draping Fluid Dress This project was very challenging, but also very fun! The pattern had to be made at first, so this is on the right side, - and this is on the wrong side. I put the pattern on the cotton fabric. It's definitely the best to use cotton fabric, so the foldings can be shown.   I have to press hard with the fingers so the folding will stay, but I do not recommend to use iron, then it will be to hard. Then you have to stitch one by one together, and one of the seam will be on the side.   I started sewing the folds for the skirt together. The skirt has inserted side pockets. This is all the parts that needs to stitch together. This is the lining with a part of the fabric. - and this is the lining of the front. The top of the dress is loose, and not stitched to the skirt. It's the same at the back, and the slits are open on top of the zipper. This is a closer picture. The pockets are in line wi...

Skirt with Front-Pocket!

Since I had more fabric left after I made my Blouse Jacket , I had enough fabric to make a skirt too. This is a pattern from BurdaStyle 2012 that I have wanted to try, and now I found that it was time to try it. I stitched the lining for the pockets in front panel. Then I stitched the pockets on the other opening, and closed the seam on the upper part.  I stitched an inner-seam for the pocket of lining. I stitched the inserts at the back panels. I stitched the invisible zipper at the back and shorten it. The skirt is finished. BurdaStyle 10/2012
