Girl's Strap-Dress with Belt 🍁

Image
I decided to try this pattern because it looked very nice in the magazine, and thought it would be a nice dress for a sweet girl. Since I had some fabric left after I made a  Skirt with gathering  it was a good choice. I had to sew the straps in place before sewing the inserts for the upper part of the dress. I also had to make the belt and stitch it to the side seams before sewing the dress together. The dress has a big pleat in front so it looks like a wrap-dress. BurdaStyle #133 07/2022

Dinosaurs for a Super Boy!

This is a fabric print that many kids like😉 I have made a shirt with hoodie, and since I had enoug fabric, I made a T-shirt as well. I have combined the printed fabric with the blue jersey that's suits very well. The shirt has a little pocket on the left side too. I have used buttons made as yellow fish :) Ottobre pattern

Green is IT 💚

This is a pattern I just had to try! It's definitive a style that I like to wear :) I think it's very nice with the folded straps around the shoulders,  and it makes the pattern more interesting. The fabric I have used is cotton and I love the flower fabric with green shades 🌸💚 BurdaStyle pattern #117 02/2023

Scuba Jacket & Draped Dress!

Image
My lovely Sister in law is wearing a jacket made of bubble-Scuba fabric. This is a very easy project, but it's great to have a fabric with two nice sides.   The curved seams makes the jacket very interesting and unique :) It's nice to wear over a dress, together with pants or a skirt. Selfmade.no pattern. Repost; This dress is a winner with it's unique draping, and a twist at the front. I've made it of dark blue jersey, and it's wearable for any occasions! The pattern is a bit tricky and was a great challenge. You can see all the marks for the twist in the middle of the dress. This is the pleats for one of the backparts that are different on both sides. The patten is from Drape Drape no. 2  We are ready for party !

Blue Shades! 💙

I found this lovely viscose fabric at Selfmade.no  and I wanted to make a nice holiday dress. I have saved this pattern for the right fabric and this is IT! I started with stitching the darts both on the upper front- and back-part. This is a boat-neck and I know it can be a little to wide for me,  so I decided to make a small dart at the neck as well. The skirt for the dress is flared and that's what I like :) I made a belt of the same fabric as well, and I'm Happy with the outcome! BurdaStyle pattern #110 06/2022
