Ellen's Sewing Passion

Since we were going on holiday together with our son's family I decided to make some Tee's for the boys :) This fabric is just amazing - and I think it's very cool! The short sleeves. I stitched the shoulder- and the side seams, and then the short sleeves toghether. I found a turquoise ribbet fabric for the neckband. I have used Ottobre Kids pattern.

Music T-shirt for a special boy! ♪♫ It's always nice to get a new T-shirt. I found this great jersey fabric at  Lysthuset.no It was a good choise for a boy that loves to play mucic ♪♫

  Printed jersey - that's what kids love to wear :) A T-shirt is great both for school and holiday! It's my choise of fabric, but I'm happy that the boys likes it 😉 Ottobre Kids #30 04/2021

  Stripes are always fun for sewing - even though you have to stitch the seams very carefully together..  I made a TR dress for an  Insta Story  with the same fabric earlier. I started sewing the shoulders toghether, then the neckband and the side seams. I stitched the side seams with narrow stitches on the sewing machine  before stitching them toghether with the overlock machine. A cool girl need a cool top 😄 I made the cuffs of ribbed jersey as well.   I love fabric with printed letters, and when I found this, I was sure that the boys would like it too :) I've made an easy T-shirt with black ribbed jersey around the neck. I also made a pair of jogging pats, and this is the first time I have tried this kind of pattern  with no seam in the middle. I thought it was nice to pop it up wiht an orange ribbon. This is an easy pattern that I had to try. I found the pattern in BurdaStyle 06/22. The neck-line should be left without any ribb, but I decided to make one anyway. Pirates is a great print both for boys and girls!   BurdaStyle pattern #133 06/2022

This is a fabric print that many kids like😉 I have made a shirt with hoodie, and since I had enoug fabric, I made a T-shirt as well. I have combined the printed fabric with the blue jersey that's suits very well. The shirt has a little pocket on the left side too. I have used buttons made as yellow fish :) Ottobre pattern
