For this blouse I have used Viscose with dobby -  colorful flowers watercolor that I bought at  Lysthuset.no It's based on  BurdaStyle pattern #106 02/2026.  It's an easy blouse to make, and I started with the slits at the back. Then I gathered the front and stitched the shoulder seams together. I made the loops for the collar at the back. Then I  stitched the collar to the blouse, and hand-stitched it on the inside.    I stitched the side seams together and the hem to the inside.              Then I stitched the hem sleeves, and attached the sleeves to the blouse.                                                                                     This is how the...

  I made this top for my sister in law💗 I like this kind of neck with the waterfall, and this is a great pattern from Marfy. The notches shows where the shoulder seam is going to be, and all the other fabric will stay on the inside of the front. I stitched a double layer of fabric to the right side of the back neck,  and turned it inside. I stitched close to the seam, and stitched it in place.  This is how it looks like when it has been stitched in place. The shoulders are stitched together. This is how it looks like on the wrong side. The side seam for the short sleeves are sewn together. I stitched the hem and the sleeve-hem with a double needle. Marfy pattern #3075

I have just made waterfall top with jersey earlier,  but this pattern should be cut on bias and therefore I decided to use Satin fabric instead.  The short sleeves with pleats are the statement for this top. The button holes for the sleeve is made after the hem is sewn, and in double layer. I considered to sew the buttons on, and through the layers,  but I thought it was better with the button holes.    BurdaStyle #119 04/2021
