Ellen's Sewing Passion

I bought this Fabulous scarf a while ago, and thought it would be nice for a Top! It's like you watch in an aquarium😂 I have used an easy pattern from BurdaStyle 04/2016. As you can see it has small inserts at the neck on the right side of the fabric. I have mad  Aquarius Top  and  Printed Top  earlier of the same pattern, but this time I wanted to have fluffy sleeves like I made on the  Maxi Dress ! Since the scarf are transparent I have used black cotton voile as lining for the front part. The pants are made of linen. It's not often that I use Simplicity pattern, but this was perfect for the project! I like the high waist and the top looks nice both inside or outside the pants. Everyone need to have a great Blouse! 💙 These sleeves are just fabulous and it was fun to make them with double cuffed sleeve hem, and I've used small "diamond" buttons 💎 The neckline is a bit deep so I decided to fix it with a single hand stitch at the V-neck. Hooray for Summer! ☼  Fabric with flowers is cheerful and when I found this in my stash I thought it would be perfect for this sheath dress pattern!  Love everything about it; the style, the pockets and the cap-sleeves!  I was lucky to have lining which suits the color too :) Burdastyle pattern #102 05/2019 Thanks BurdaStyle for featuring My Dress ! 

Flowers = Summer! 🌺🌻🌼 Jersey is comfy to were and love sewing with jersey! This is a pattern I wanted to try, and I found the floral jersey in my stash. Turquoise together with red is a great combination. The dress has loops and buttons in front, but it's more for decoration since I easily can take the dress over the head without opening. I wanted to make this blouse for my birthday - and I did! 😉 I had this lovely cotton-satin flower fabric, and I had saved it for something special which happen to be this blouse with lots of flounces!
