Girl's Blouse for holiday 🌸

Image
I had a little fabric left after I made a blouse earlier, and it's a very nice cotton fabric. I had to cut the button list as a separate part. I also had to cut small parts, and stitch together for the collar. At first, I stitched the buttonlist at the front parts, then the shoulders- and side seams. I stitched the collar together, and stitched it in place. I top-stitched the collar and the front, and made button-holes for the butons. Patrones Extra no.36 04/2014 BurdaStyle pattern #125 05/2010

Christmas present!

Image
I wanted to surprice our little granddaughter with this dress. The fabric is batic-cotton that I think is very nice. I iron the pleats in place before stitching a seam at the neck. I stitched the invisible zipper in place at the back panels, before I stitched the back-seam. The short sleeves are pleated at the shoulders, and gathered at the hem.  The buttons in front are just for decoration. I made a loop for the button at the back of the neck. T-Shirt for a Super-Boy!

Batik jersey is Great for a T-shirt! This is an easy T-shirt made of leftovers. I had to sew a few seams at the back to have enough fabric.

Linen Batik Dress :)

I was curious about this pattern and had to make it a try!  I found the linen batik fabric in my stash, and I wonder why I didn't use this before... Linen fabric is wonderful to use on a warm sunny day ☼ I wanted to have an exposed zipper, this is 30 cm long,  and I made a little alternation with the flounces beside the zipper. I like the flounce collar and I think it's a great detail too. I made a belt of the same fabric, but I think it will be very nice  together with a camel brown belt and shoes too 👢💙 BurdaStyle #107 03/2020

Batik Blouse with Embroidery

Image
I fell in love with this lovely batik cotton! I had to find a nice pattern so I could use the embroidery at the edge. It was a lot of work with rubber band both at the waist,  neck and sleeve hem, but I'm happy with the result :) Burdastyle pattern #125 05/2010
