Velvet dress for a joung "Lady" 🎀

Image
This is a dress the Sweetie has wanted for a long time.. I found the grey velvet in my stash, but since she loves colors,  she wanted to have different colors for the bows to pop it up a bit :) The upper front are gathered in the middle with an invisible elastic rubberband. It has a double layer of fabric as well.  The dress is finished and the girl has to pick the colors she wanted to have for the bows. Ottobre Kids pattern 06/2012

Girl's Top 🌸

Image
I had a bit of fabric left from an Adrienne Blouse  and thought it would  be great to make a top for a Sweetie. I have combind it with pink jersey around the neck and as sleeve cuffs. I have gathered the top of the shoulders a bit like she loves it :) The top is based on a pattern from Ottobre Kids.

BurdaStyle Challenge!

REPOST: My lovely Niece💙 is wearing a dress I made for a Member Model Challenge  hosted by BurdsStyle some years ago. I didn't won the competition, but it was fun to participate :) The dress is made of georgette fabric that are very delicious to wear. I have used micro satin for the lining. It was a bit tricky to sew the dress, but I was happy to manage. More pics of the  Fifties Dress  from an earlier post. BurdaStyle pattern

Reticular Origami Sleeve!

Image
This was my final task at the origami course that I attended. This looks like a spidernet, and it's a bit sophisticated. After cutting it apart I added space between the lines for the foldings. I had to make it very exactly to match the corners for each part. This is the firts step, and how it looks like on the wrong side. Next step is finished. Then the whole project is finished, but I have to make the other half of the jacket too! 😅 I'm very Happy to receive my Origami Master Certification!

Minnie Mouse Dress!

This is a dress for a Sweetie 💗 I have made a pattern with a circle skirt so she can spin around like she loves to do! The top is based on a pattern for a sweater.  Sightseeing tour :)

Top with Sleeve rubberband :)

Image
I have used an Ottobre pattern as basic for this top. I have made an alternation for the sleeve patten to make it even more gathered  with a rubber-band as the pattern shows. This is how the sleeves looks after I have stitched the rubber-band in place. It's a top that is easy to wear together with a pair of pants or a skirt. I'm on the airport and waiting for boarding to travel home.

Black & White 🖤

My lovely model Vilde on the Catwalk!💖 She is wearing a dress made of black linen with white details. The dress has a zipper at the front and a zipper at the left side. If you look closer you can see that I have decorated the dress with zig-sag stitches. The dress has welt pockets as well. She thought it was great to wear the dress for Christmas as well 🎄 BurdaStyle pattern #118 04.2008
