Ellen's Sewing Passion

Heine Totland is a rockstar from our local area 🎵 He has had roles in musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Mamma Mia! and Buddy Holly. He is attending in a norwegian TV-show Farmen kjendis  that starts next week. I made this shirt for him when he had a show together with his band  on our 50-years anniversary for our company 🎉 Photo: Svein Egil Økland   This is a litte movie from his performance on our celebration.

This is Crazy, but I had to try something new! I found a shirt in my husbands closet that he didn't use so much... 😉 I wanted to make a blouse jacket and found a pattern in BurdaStyle 05/2019. It's specially the sleeves I like very much. I have used the sleeve pattern for this  Shirt Dress  as well. I had to cut the front and back part of the blouse up-side-down of the shirt. The sleeves is made of a bed-sheet I bought for a Toga-Party :) Burdastyle 05/2019

When you need to have a quick project to take out your energy, this is the right choice!😄 I bought the T-shirt pattern and the fabric at  Stoff og Stil I have use yellow as a pop-up color around the neck. I think my son looks Happy with his new T-shirt!

Happy Birtday to Tommy! 🎉🥂🍾 I've made an easy T-shirt for our boy, Tommy who are 30 years old today!  I didn't have any pattern, so I have used an old T-shirt that he like and made the pattern my self. I like the fabric which I found at  Stoff & Stil BROTHERS ♥

I think nice T-shirt's like this deserve a New Life :) I have turned it back-forward and cut of the sleeves, and made it slimmer at the waist. I had this old blouse in my wardrobe and thought it would be a perfect match with the blue T-shirt. I cut of the bottom, gather it and sewn it together  with the shirt to make it longer. I made a new shape for the sleeves and gather them at the shoulders. We had a lot of Fun when Torhild was posing for our choir 😂🎵 The belt is original from the blouse :)

Where did the Fox go...... Printed fabric makes you in a good mood :) and Ronny thought this fabric was nice for a T-shirt. I didn't have any patterns, so I copied it of an old one.
