Printed Cascade Dress :)

Image
I fell in love with this pattern fom BurdaStyle June issue! This is another fabric I bought on our fabric-safari in St Peterburg 😍  Printed fabric always catch my eyes! 👓 As you can see the finish of the edge around the sleeves are special and I struggle a bit to figure out how to sew them. I chose to use red piping around the neck and waist. To make sure that the piping don't decolorize I washed it before sewing. Since I have used viscose fabric I thought it was best to hand-stitch the hem. Burdastyle pattern #101 06/2018 Thanks for featuring my Dress BurdaStyle!

The fabric makes it special! I had to use the whole panel of the fabric in one piece, so it had to be a dress! Black and white can be used in different ways, and I found the striped fabric in my stash and thought it was a nice combination for the back part. The  Red Blazer  is an earlier project. I like this pattern a lot, and I have made two dresses before. If you like, you can have a look at my  Firework Dress  and the  Striped Summer Dress  🌞 Wishing you a wonderful holiday!   Burdastyle Pattern #107 04/2017  Together with Sara and two of my sons :)

On a short visit to Kristiansand , a city south of Norway. I'm wearing my new shirt which I was lucky to squeeze out of the scrap I had left after I made the  Sabina Dress    I had to match the print  of the lovely satin fabric for the dress. This pattern has a great fit, and I like the pleats in front which makes it special :) The sleeves has a great fit too. Burdastyle pattern #105 04/2018

From Russia with Love ♥

I think it's not so hard for you to understand why I fell in Love  with this gorgeous silk chiffon in St Peterburg! The pattern I have used is one of the 60's Vintage BurdaStyle Pattern Collection.  I got the pattern collection when I was the lucky winner with my  Holiday Dress    when I participate in the Sloper Member Model Challenge :)  It's an easy pattern, but I think it's nice.  I want all the colors and flowers in the fabric to glow!  Burdastyle pattern Tina-dress The pics are from our garden with yellow roses :)    I have shorten the sleeves and used a rolled hem.  For the lining I have used micro satin.

I'm together with my lovely sister in law on our way to Vilnius to celebrate our mother in law's  93-years birthday!     I'm wearing my second top made from      BurdaStyle 02/2018. I have combined a   lovely viscose fabric together with jersey at the back. It's a nice detail with the gathering at the neck.                           The first top I made was with a vintage jersey which you can see  here  if you like. Burdastyle pattern #108 02/2018

This is my kind of fabric and I fancy it very much! The pattern is from BurdaStyle 02/2018. The little detail with the bow at the back makes it a bit special. We are on Arlanda airport on the way home from our "Fabric-Safari" in St Peterburg Burdastyle pattern #120 02/2018
