Refashion Dress for Summer ☼

Image
This is a Great dress for hot summer days! I have combined a top and a skirt together with a part of antoher top for the waistline. I have used the short sleeves for the lilac top earlier for another  Refashion Dress I made the red skirt some years ago, and since the elastic are not lasting that long,  I decided to cut a part of the top of the skirt to make it shorter. For the waistline  I have used a part of a knitted dress that I also have used for another project earlier. My lovey model Maren💜 looks great in my new refashion dress,  and I'm Happy how it turned out!

Dress with a Bird :)

Sporty Sara! 🧡 This dress is a combination of a long sleeve shirt and a T-shirt. You will always find garments with orange color in my wardrobe!  I bought the T-shirt with the orange bird on a holiday some years ago, and now it was perfect to use for a refashion dress. I have replaced the long orange sleeves with the short sleeves  from the T-shirt, which I think was very nice. It's a very easy and quick project to make! ✂

My Top became a Skirt!

It's better to make something out of garments that you don't wearing anymore 💕 I needed to refresh the grey wool jacket,  so I have used the blue sleeves from the other jacket and waistband is turned back-forward. It has a little belt buckle and it's nice so I like to keep it. The armholes were perfect to make pockets, so I have used a bit of grey jersey at the back and sewn a pocket line at the top of the skirt. The belt from the top is just for decoration 🌸
