Darted Jersey Dress!

Image
It's a while since I've tried this pattern, but I like it a lot. I made it in Green Shade last time. The sculptor collar makes the dress unique :) I bought this nice denim jersey, and I thought it would be great for this pattern. I stitched the darts for the front parts, and stitched the front seam together. Then I stitched the darts fro the upper and lower part of the back. The zipper are stitched in place. Then I stitched the side seams,  - and the sleeves. The collar are stitched to the dress, and the inner collar are folded to and stitched to the inside.  BurdaStyle pattern #111 08/2017 Visiting Poland :)

Fluffy Blouse!

Image
I have made another Blouse with Flounce  earlier, and I like this pattern a lot! It's perfect for a light weight fabric or cotton voile like this. I started with iron the edge to the inside where the flounce is going be. Then I zig-sag it with narrow stitche and cut the fabric close to the seam. Then I stitched the seam in the middle and made a french seam since the fabric is so transparent. I stitched the cap-sleeves together. - and I stitched the cap-sleeves to the blouse, and iron the seams at the shoulders. The neck-band is stitched in place, and sewing the neckband together at the ends. I turned the neckband to the inside and hand-stitch it in place. I'm really happy how the blouse turned out! Spaghetti Strap dress

I fell in Love with this colorful fabric with flowers and butterflies and thought it would be nice for a Lovely summer dress for Sara 💗 The top is made with 3 layers since it's draped and gathered to fit, and it has a little flounce on top of the V-neck.       The skirt is gathered as well, so the dress is very fluffy! 😍 Burdastyle pattern #103 03/2017

Bell Sleeve Blouse

Image
It's amazing how bell sleeves can make a blouse unique! I have combine woven viscose with micro-satin. The pattern is from BurdaStyle June issue and I think it's a great pattern. You can dress it up together with a skirt or simply wear it with jeans. I think Sara looks wonderful in her new blouse :)    Spread your little wings and fly away....   BurdaStyle pattern #102 06/2017
