This is a pattern that I was very curious to try, and I have made  Another  in a blue color earlier. I look rather crazy at the picture, but it's very nice.  The only thing that is not so good is when you are having a meal  or it's not a good idea to use when cooking 😉   BurdaStyle pattern #115 08/2018

Cotton is delicious to wear in summertime ☼ I found this pattern in Ottobre magazine. The front panel are gathered in the middle. - and the back-panel as well. The dress has short sleeved with rubberband at the hem. The dress has an opening in the front neck with buttons. The short sleeves are gathered at the shoulders. I have used transparent buttons that I think is very nice. Ottobre fashion 02/12

This dress pattern was quite a challenge! All the parts are cut out of a nice linen fabric. I started with stitching around the short sleeves. I made the facing for the neck. At first, I had to stitch the bust darts. When I stitch the zipper in place, I stitch a little notch where the once side ended, or if I have a seam at the waist to match, so it's easy to stitch the other side to the same point. This is the first time I have tried to top stitched the short sleeves in place, but I think I managed. I use a double bias as a finish for the armholes and stithed it to the inside. I also had to stitched the sleeves on top to the layer of the fabric. This is the facing before I have stitched it around the neck. I always cut a lttle notch at the middle, then it's easy to match the different parts. The dress is finished - and I'm very happy with how it turned out! Pattern from Japanese Style book 2012.
