Ellen's Sewing Passion

This is a dress I'm sure the little princess gonna love🐷💓 She is very found of Peppa pig :) I have cut the parts of the fabric, but I had to combine it with  white linen fabric for one of the layers.  I started withe the slits at the front opening. Then I stitched the collar in place, before I stitched the short sleeves and the skirt on the dress. Then the dress is finished. Burdastyle Kids 01/2024

Our sweet granddauhter loves getting new clothes, espesially dresses💝  I found this fabulous cotton fabric in my stash that I bought to make lining for a coat :)  I started with the upper part and made the collar. I made the skirt and the sleeves, and bought some nice pink buttons. She was so trilled when she got the dress and swirled around😄 BurdaStyle Kids 1/2024

I bought this fabulous melange jersey at  Meretes Atelier Lysthuset and thought it would be great for a jacket and pants for a little girl🩷 At first, I made the jacket. It has side pockets, and zipper in front. I used ribbed jersey around the neck, for the fininsh of the hem and the cuffs. BurdaStyle 05/2018 The pants have back pockets, and I used a template to make round corners. The front panel has no seam in front. I have used rubberband at the waist, but not at the bottom.   Since I had more left of this wonderful jersey after I made the Tee with Butterflies , I had enough fabric to make a top for our little granddaughter. At first, I gathered the flounce, - and stitched it together with the upper part. I stitched the hem for the sleeve flounces, and stitched it to the top. Then I made the neck-band and stitched the hem to the inside. Our granddaughter love to wear the top 💞 BurdaStyle Kids 01/2024

I thought this fabric was a great choise for a Sweet Girl 💗 At first, I decided to make a top, but I realize that I had enough  fabric to make a mini-skirt as well.    The top is gathered at the shoulder, and that's what she like :) I made cuffs as a finish at the sleeve hem.
