Cotton is delicious to wear in summertime ☼ I found this pattern in Ottobre magazine. The front panel are gathered in the middle. - and the back-panel as well. The dress has short sleeved with rubberband at the hem. The dress has an opening in the front neck with buttons. The short sleeves are gathered at the shoulders. I have used transparent buttons that I think is very nice. Ottobre fashion 02/12

I bought this beautiful pastel fabric at  Rainbowfashion.no . It's a kind of linen blend. I thought it would be nice to make this button-up dress from BurdaStyle 03/2025.    I cut all the parts, and the sleeves are very wide wiht pleats at the shoulder. I made the upper part with the bust inserts. Then I stitched the skirt together with the top. I made the tunnel for the rubberband at the waist,  and also the rouleau for the button list. I stitched the facing around the neck and the button opening. The sleeves are pleated and then gathered at the shoulders,  - and rubberband at the sleeve hem. I hand-stitched the hem. I had a bit left of this wonderful viscose fabric after I made a  Dress in my Favorite fabric  ! I was happy that I had enough to make a blouse :) I have cut all the parts. The back parts are stitched together. I made the opening for the front and stitched it to the lover part. The sleeves are gathered. The shoulder seams are stitched. The collar is stitched together with the collar-stand. Then stitched around the neck. The sleeves are stitched together with the cuffs, and to the shoulders. Then the side- and the sleeve seams are stitched. - and the blouse is finished :) BurdaStyle pattern #101 02/2008
