Japanese Handbag :)

I made a handbag as a gift when we had a local Catwalk 😊

My model Christine is showing the bag to the audience before we had the raffle.

I have used cotton fabric, and volum vliseline to make the bag steady.

I chose checked cotton crepe as lining for the bag,
and I made a little pocket as well.
.
This is the wrong side turning out, and I stitched both the linging and the outside fabric together.

I have used a magnetic push-button so it's easy to close and open the bag.

The handels for the bag is made of leather that I bought in Copenhagen.

I have stitched an outer seam to keep it steady.

The patterns is from a book I bought when I had a trip to Japan :)
