Blouse with Flounce sleeve!

Image
This is a delicious viscose fabric bought at  Lysthuset.no All the parts are cut, and I'm very curious how the sleeves will turn out. The front edges are turned to the inside. I stitched very narrow zig-sag for the sleeve flounce and cut away the edge. The flounce are stitched to the upper sleeve. Then the sleeve seam are stitched before attaching the cuffs. The sleeves are attatched to the blouse. I made the collar, and stitched it to the blouse. I hand-stitched the inner-seam.  Button holes to come. The blouse is finished! Stripes on bias!

Image
Stripes could be a challenge for sewing a dress,  but since these stripes are diagonal it was no problem to match. I bought this lovely cotton fabric at  Stoffdronning.no The dress has buttonlist at the front. The flounce is very long, and it is pleated instead of gathered. The side seams are stitched,  - and then the pleated flounce. I made the collar for the dress. I change the cap-sleeves with a little bit longer sleeves  that are gathered at the shoulders. At the end, I stitched the channel for the waistband in place. BurdaStyle 03/2007

Romper for a Baby-boy💙

Image
A new baby-boy is born💙 and I made this cute farming-romper for him.   This is the leftovers after I made our granddaughter's Farming Dress for her birthday. I have used an invisible zipper at the front, and it goes further down to one of the leg so it's easy for the parents :) The fabric is really cute, and bought at Stoffdronning.no Ottobre Kids pattern.
