  This is a fabulous pattern from BurdaStyle that I had to try! At first, I stitched the back panels together.   Then the upper back panel. I made the pleats for the right front panel. The collar are stitched together with the collar-stand. Then the collar are stitched in place. I made the sleeves with sleeve cuffs. Since I have used denim fabric with stretch  I had to stitch a double layer of fabric where I was going to nail the buttons. I have used denim buttons that I think is very nice. The dress is finished :) I have lengten the dress with 10cm. BurdaStyle pattern 112 05/2026

  It's a while since I've tried this pattern, but I like it a lot. I made it in Green Shade last time. The sculptor collar makes the dress unique :) I bought this nice denim jersey, and I thought it would be great for this pattern. I stitched the darts for the front parts, and stitched the front seam together. Then I stitched the darts fro the upper and lower part of the back. The zipper are stitched in place. Then I stitched the side seams,  - and the sleeves. The collar are stitched to the dress, and the inner collar are folded to and stitched to the inside.  BurdaStyle pattern #111 08/2017 Visiting Poland :)

This is a pattern that really catched my eye! I like to challenge myself, and the lapel collar is a bit tricky to make, but this time I'm very happy with the outcome :) I have used light weight denim with a little stretch. I started with makeing all the inserts for the upper part. Then I stitched the the front and back panels together. This is the facing for the collar. I stitched the lower part to the collar before stitching the collar together.  I have also made a "fake" pocket on the left side. Then the skirt is stitched together with the upper part. I wanted to have an easy dress to wear at the office for this time of year, and I bought this nice denim crepe at Lysthuset.no I have made two other version of the same pattern: Dress made of Scarf  and the  Flowery Dress I stitched the shoulder- and the side seams together. I made the collar for the neck. Then I stitched the button holes in place. I found out that the easiest way was to sew the buttons in place before stitching the skirt to the top.  I decided to make side-pockets to the dress. The skirt has no opening, so you just put the dress over your head. I made the flounces for the cuffs of the sleeves. I have used very narrow zig-zag stitches, and cut of the exstra edges. The cuffs are ready to stitch together with the sleeves. I made the sleeve opening first, Then I stitched the cuffs to the sleeves. Nähtrends pattern 02/2024
