Linen Culottes!

Image
I'm always curious to try out new patterns, and this was no exception! This is the wide of the hem :) Since the linen fabric waa a bit transparent I had to make a lining for the upper part. The Silk Blouse is an earlier project I made. I'm very happy with the outcome and the culottes are very comfortable to wear. The drawstring on the sides are just for decoration :) I think this is just an amazing pattern! BurdaStyle #107 04/2026

Soft Cotton Blouse 🌸

Image
This is a blouse pattern that I fell in love with. I made my  Japanese fabric Blouse  earlier with the same pattern.  This is a delicious cotton fabric from Liberty bought at  Stof2000.dk that I couln't resist💗 I made the pleats for the front- and back panels. The shoulder- and side seams are stitched together. I made the double button list with button holes. Then I top-stitched the button list. I stitched the collar to the collar-stand, and then around the neck. I made the slits for the sleeves, and then the cuffs. I bought the lovely buttons in Japan :) I love to wear this soft and delicious blouse. It's easier to see the pleats on the blouse from the side. I'm wearing the blouse with my  Linen pants  that I made some years ago. BurdaStyle #116 05/2026

Denim Dress with front Pleats!

Image
This is a fabulous pattern from BurdaStyle that I had to try! At first, I stitched the back panels together.   Then the upper back panel. I made the pleats for the right front panel. The collar are stitched together with the collar-stand. Then the collar are stitched in place. I made the sleeves with sleeve cuffs. Since I have used denim fabric with stretch  I had to stitch a double layer of fabric where I was going to nail the buttons. I have used denim buttons that I think is very nice. The dress is finished :) I have lengten the dress with 10cm. BurdaStyle pattern 112 05/2026

Linen Vest & wide Pants! 🧡🧡🧡

Image
At first, I wanted to make a jumpsuit, but after I cut out the pieces I decided to make a vest and pants insted, so I had to make some adjustments, espesially for the pants. I bought this fabulous linen fabric at Abby's Tekstiler I stitched the shoulderes- and side seams together, and then the facing around the neck and front parts. I used double bias of the fabric and stitched around the arm holes. I had to make a facing for the hem of the vest as well. Then I stitched the pockets in place for the pants.   I also stitched the inserts for the back panels. I made straps and double waistline for the pants. I decided to use a zipper in front instead of buttons as in the pattern. I'm very Happy how the outfit turned out ! :) I bought the lovely buttons in Tokyo when visiting Japan :) BurdaStyle #110 05/2026
