Ellen's Sewing Passion

This is a pattern I have tried once before  when I attended a  Member Model Challenge  hosted by BurdaStyle. I like the special finish for the arm holes. I found this lovely cotton fabric at  Stoffdronning.no   I stitched the darts in place at the back, but not in front yet. The sides are stitched together. Then the double layer of fabric are stitched to the sides. - and then stitched to the top.  I have neaten the piping in place, Then I stitched the facing around the neck and the arm holes. I stitched the side pockets to the skirt, and stitched an underseam for the front pockets. Then I stitched the to together with the skirt, and made an invicible zipper at the back, and hand-stitched the hem in place.  BurdaStyle #101 06/2018

  This is a nice pattern I found in Ottobre Kids. Everyone loves Willie-the-Pooh, and I think the fabric is really cute. My granddaughter was very happy when she got the dress and wanted to wear it right away😍 This is all the pattern piece. I made the pockets and use a template for iron the curved edge. The collar has piping around the outer edges. At first, the pockets is gathered and then I have stitched them to the front panel. I also made a piping around the button-piece, but this is just for decoration. The back has a invisible zipper, and piping  I decided to make short sleeves since it's nice in the summertime :) The found some nice bear-buttons to use as decoration for the fake button-list. Cotton is delicious to wear in summertime ☼ I found this pattern in Ottobre magazine. The front panel are gathered in the middle. - and the back-panel as well. The dress has short sleeved with rubberband at the hem. The dress has an opening in the front neck with buttons. The short sleeves are gathered at the shoulders. I have used transparent buttons that I think is very nice. Ottobre fashion 02/12
