Girl's Butterfly Top 🦋

Image
Since I had more left of this wonderful jersey after I made the Tee with Butterflies , I had enough fabric to make a top for our little granddaughter. At first, I gathered the flounce, - and stitched it together with the upper part. I stitched the hem for the sleeve flounces, and stitched it to the top. Then I made the neck-band and stitched the hem to the inside. Our granddaughter love to wear the top 💞 BurdaStyle Kids 01/2024

Blouse with Bat sleeves!

Image
I found the pattern in BurdaStyle July Magazine, and thought it would be  great for this nice cotton fabric bought at Stoffdronning.no   This is a pattern that catched my eyes, and bat-sleeves are great! I stitched the button list to the front panels.   I had to stitch the inserts at the back before stitching the back-panels together.   The shoulder- and the side-seams are stitched together, and the pleats at the sleeve hem are stitched in place. I made the collar with collar-stand for the blouse, and stitched it around the neck. I made button holes for at the button-list. Then the cuffs had to come. I used my lovely diamonds as buttons! Repost from BurdaStyle: This is a dress I made a long time ago, but the pattern is very unique! The dress is draped only on the one side that's make the effect very special :) drape drape 2 by Hisako Sato

Japanese Blouse for a Sweetie 💖

Image
Since I had more fabric left after I made my Blouse , I could make a blouse for this sweet girl as well. This is the upper part when I have connected the short gathered sleeves. The blouse is crossing in front.  Then the bottom at the back is gathered and stitch together with the upper part.  I have used cotton voile as bias around the neck. Then I stitched the bottom together upper part of the front.  The blouse is finished :) Ottobre kids fashion 3/2023

Simplicity-patten Dress

Image
I have saved this pattern for the right occacion, and now it was the right time for trying it :) Cotton fabric bought at Stoffdronning.no At first, I made the facing for the upper panels and stitched them together.   Then I stitched the upper front panel to the lower panel.  The panel has plets at the end of the seam. I stitched the back panel together and also make the pleats. The pleats are iron in the middle, so it looks more flat. Then I stitched the short sleeves in place. - and the hem is stitched. The dress has an invisible zipper at the back. Simplicity 03/2013
