  Sometimes I need to have a new challenge, and this was a great one! At first, I draw the pattern on to the fabric, Then I cut all the holes open. The short sleeves are just open lines through the fabric. I cut cords for knotting the holes together. This is how the back looks like after knotting. I stitched a double band around the neck,  and the hem with a double needle. The girl was amazed when she got the top :) BurdaStyle 03/2013 

I bought a wonderful cotton fabric at  Stoffdronning.no and I thought it would be nice to make a blouse.   I have cut all the parts, and I have to tell that I especially like  the hi-low hem for the blouse, and here is another version :) I stitched the yok and the shoulder seams,  - then the hem and the side seams. I made the sleeves,  and added the cuffs for the sleeves. Then I stitched the collar and collar-stand together, and stitched it around the neck. The sleeves where stitched into the arm-holes. I found some red buttons to match the blouse. BurdaStyle #111 02/2020

  I showed my granddaughter two different fabric, and asked if she want to have a dress  of this or a plain blue linen fabric, and she chose the one with the scissors. I made the slits in the middle and stitched the side seams. The sleeves where stitched together, and then stitched to the top. The neck where gathering and I have used the same fabric on bias around the neck. The sleeves have rubber-band at the hem. The skirt is made of two gathered ruffles. She was very happy when she got the dress, and was wearing it on our holiday ☼ I have used 2 buttons as decoration, and a hook for the opening of the slit. Ottobre Kids fashion 3/2023

  This is a fancy pattern from BurdaStyle that is knotted in front, but you can also wear it with putting the fabric into the skirt/pants. The pattern has only 4 panels so you don't need a lot of fabric. The lovely fabric is bought at  Stoffdronning.no The side seams are stitched together and then the under collar. I usually use the vliseline for the upper-collar,  but in the pattern instruction it says for the under-collar. The collar is stitched together. The sleeves have rubber-band at the lower part.   The sleeves are 3/4 long. I found a nice flower-button in my stash🌸 BurdaStyle 04/2013 We are enjoying an outdoor consert in Lazienki park in Warsaw.
