Linen Jacket & Skirt!
When I saw this jacket in BurdaStyle I knew I had to make one! I decided to make the jacket in linen fabric instead of denim, and I think it's a good choise! The jacket has a lot of panels. I made the pleats in front. I stitched the pocket flaps in place, before stitchin the upper front parts in place. Then I stitched the back parts all together. The shoulders- and the side seams are stitched together. I made the button-list for the front parts. Then I stitched the collar in place. I have used denim-buttons for the jacket. BurdaStyle 05/2026 Since I had some fabric left, I had enough to make a skirt as well! The skirt has pockets and a pleat in front, and zipper at the left side.
