Dress with African print πŸ¦“πŸ¦’πŸ˜

This african print catched my eyes, and I thought it would be nice for childrens clothes :)
I decided to make a dress for our granddaughter, and found a pattern in a Patrones magazine.

The dress has a phone-pocket and that was a new detail I had not tried to make before.

The upper part is asymmetric, and therefore the skirt is asymmetric as well.

Instead of a double layer of fabric I made a facing for the neckline and the armholes.

I stitched the princess seams and the side seams before stitching the facing in place.

I attached the skirt and the phone-pocket.

I have tried to show how the phone pocket is when it's flat and open.

The phone-pocket is on the left-handside.

The dress is finished, and I hope our 3-years granddaughter will love it😊
