Ellen's Sewing Passion

We are ready for a new Challenges! Christine is thinking of Mark in Bridget Jones Diary :) Our first challenge is to sew a Christmas Sweater with a Huge Applique on the front part - Time limit: 3 Hours!  I'm going to make " Musevisa "  It's a Norwegian song about the mice who celebrate X-mas. If no one get into the mousetrap, they will all celebrate X-mas next year!         Andreas ask me if I'm going to use the sewing machine for every thing, and I say: "Yes, or can I glue it?"  Time limit is out and I,m sewing as fast as I can!     STOP SEWING! We are sharing sew-stories on #symesterskapet's Instagram account. We can decide what we like to share. This time I wanted to make a jersey dress with a "twist" on the body. I have chosen fabric with stripes to give it the right attention :)  Morning has broken ♪♫    Instagram: @ellenhatteland   Here are my sewing room and my favorite place in our house :)             As you can see of the front part of the body I have made  a little twist with the pattern.       The pleats are in place and I have decided to use  red fabric around the neck and at the bottom of  the sleeves. The dress is based on  Burdastyle pattern #123 08/2015     I started sewing the front part, and thought it was nice with the stripes diagonally. Then I had to sew around the neck, and I had to use one layer for interfacing as well.       ...
