T-shirts became a Dress!

Image
My lovely model and good Friend, Inger Hanne 💗 wearing my newest refashion dress. I have used one of my T-shirt for the top, and two of my son's T-shirts for the skirt. One T-shirt for the front side of the skirt, and the backside of a red T-shirt for the back of the skirt of the dress. The short sleeves are from the Desigual T-shirt which I have decorated with several buttons. For the pockets and the waistband I have used black courtelle jersey. We did a catwalk with refashion dresses to give people some inspiration,  and show them how easy it is to up-cycle garments!😊

Local CATWALK ♥

Image
I was invited to have a local Catwalk on the LADIES EVE last Friday.  This picture is from our local newspaper, and I'm together with my lovely Friend, Torunn💛 wearing the raincoat I made  when I participate in the Norwegian Sewing Bee 🐝 All my models and good Friends💕 At first we had a Refashion Catwalk. The dress Torunn is wearing is made of my son's jeans combined with  white bi-stretch and lace fabric for the sleeves,  Refashion with Jeans  Sara is wearing a yellow T-shirt combined with the bottom of a sweater  and sleeves from a jacket,  Dress with Hoodie Eva is wearing a T-short turned back-forward and  my son's T-short as a skirt for the dress,  Easy Refashion Fun Inger Hanne is wearing a jacket combined with  my husband's sweater as a skirt,  Animal print Refashion Torhild is wearing my son's T-shirt combined with an old blouse,  T-shirt Dress   After ...

Cerise Sweater

Image
This is another sweater I bought very big and had to make some adjustments! I wanted to have it more fitted and not so wide, especially on the shoulders and at the waist. I like the peplum sleeves, so I kept them, only a bit shorter. Now I very happy to wear it! 💕

Turquoise sweater

Image
I found this sweater on my holiday. Sometimes I can't find the right style, and then it's easy to make an alternation. I love turquoise, and couldn't leave this sweater behind..💙 I didn't like the wide of the sweater, but the sleeves were very nice. As you can see I have cut the sleeves with shoulders,  and then it became a quite different sweater. I have used the same pattern as for the  Top with Tie back   and I'm very Happy with the outcome! 😄 I think the gathering at the shoulders are very nice!

Printed Jersey Dress!

Image
This is a kind of fabric that I like very much!  Black & White is always a winner 🤩 As you can see from the pattern, the skirt panels has 3 panels in front and back,  and I think it would be nice for color-blocking as well :) The gathering at the neck and the flaps with buttons makes it unique. The big buttons are for decoration. My Image pattern 04/2010

Refashion - My son's T-shirt!

Image
The front part of this top is the back of my son's T-shirt 😆 The more Crazy print - The more I like it 🤩 I have used a pattern from BurdaStyle 02/2013. I have made a dress of the same pattern earlier, so I knew it was very nice! I have choose to combine the T-shirt with a plain black viscose jersey, which was a great choice. The temperature outside was a bit low when my husband took these pictures, so he got me laughing a lot 😂 BurdaStyle #109 02/2013
