Happy Wool!

Image
My Good friend Torunn who lives in this beautiful place! 🤩 She's wearing one of my latest wool refashion dresses which are made of 3 different wool sweaters. I like the combination of colors and it's rather easy to transform sweaters to make a dress 😄   You can easily see how I have cut the sweaters.   I gathered the neck on both sides and made a facing with the cerise wool.     The sleeves are very wide and I have used a rubber-band as a detail. I was not sure if I would leave them wide or finish them with a cuff, but since the dress will be worn when it's cold then I prefer it with cuffs. The cuffs are made of the neck for the dark grey sweater.       The ribbon for the pockets are made from the neck ribbon of the cerise sweater.

Top with Buttons!

This is a Top that makes me Smile!😉 I wish all the buttons where for real so I could pick one and another for a project I'm working on...! The pattern is great if you have a little fabric left. That's why I have combine it with black jersey. I have used the pattern several times, but the  Winter Wonderland Top  I made earlier is a top I like very much! BurdaStyle pattern #112 04/2009

Merino Wool Dress

Image
All of a sudden it was white outside again ❄ Then it's great to wear a wool dress ! This dress is made of a delicious merino wool bought at  Stoffbutikken.no It's the same pattern as I have used for the  Linen Dress from BurdaStyle March 2020, only the sleeves are different. This is a stretch fabric, so I have used a short zipper,  so it's easy to take it on and off :) Playing with the snow is FUN ! 😂 BurdaStyle pattern #106 03/2020

T-Shirt for our Birthday Boy!

Image
Happy Birtday to Tommy! 🎉🥂🍾 I've made an easy T-shirt for our boy, Tommy who are 30 years old today!  I didn't have any pattern, so I have used an old T-shirt that he like and made the pattern my self. I like the fabric which I found at  Stoff & Stil BROTHERS ♥

Crazy Fabric Top!

I like to use my leftovers!  This is the rest I had left after I made the  Knotted Back Top and I love that fabric so much that I couldn't waste it... I found the BurdaStyle pattern in issue 11/2018 which matched great for the fabric. Since I had enough fabric to make one sleeve, I thought it was a good choice. Together with black it's always safe! I'm wearing my  Wide Pants  made of linen which was great to wear together with my top :)

The fabric is everything! 🌸

My lovely model Sara💜 I had exactly enough of this colorful fabric to cut the front part of this top. It was a little left-over after my  Flounce Pencil Skirt The fabric is a sweatshirt jersey and I have combined it with solid black jersey.  The sleeves have a nice detail with the rubber band. At first I made an ordinary neck like the pattern, but thought it was to high, so I cut it shorter, and then I was satisfied :)   The pattern is originale from Burda Easy FW/2017 but now I found the same pattern in BurdaStyle 02/2020
