Christmas Dress💖

Image
Ready for Christmas 🎄🌟  This is a nearly the same Spiral pattern I made for my Denim Dress ,  but this pattern is made with double fold, so it was more challenging! I started with a front body, and draw lines after each triangle.   There are another triangles inside the pink triangles. This is how the top are going to be after sewing it together. - and the backside. It was a very long pattern when I foldet it out. I need to fold it carefully at the pleats. - and this is how it looks like after the folding before I started the sewing. The skirt pattern is the same pattern as I used for the Puff Sleeve Dress earlier. As lining I have used red stretch satin. BurdaStyle pattern 05/2020

Girl's Wrapped Jacket & Skirt 💝

It's always nice sewing for this little pincess 💕 This is the rest I had left after I made this  asymmetric top Since I didn't have enough fabric for both sleeves I have combined it with plain red. I found both the pattern in BurdaStyle 10/2020. She loves dancing and playing around 😄 The skirt it made of cotton and it's a wrap-around skirt. I have used a red rubber band at the waist with a small button.

Denim Dress with a Twist! 💥

I'm sure this will be one of my favorite dress! I have started to learn a new Origami technique by Shingo Sato,  and I can tell it's a great challenge for me, but I like it a lot! I start with an ordinary body and make triangles were the pleats are going to be. This is the fininshed pattern, and as you can se it fits exactly when I fold it together. This is how the pattern looks like on the wrong side. I cut it out of the fabric and fold it together where the pleats are going to be. It's important to use cotton fabric so the pleats will last. This is how the front of the body looks like before stitching it together. I have made the back part of the body and a skirt with pleats to fit. I chose to use a skirt pattern of a dress from BurdaStyle 09/2018.   BurdaStyle 09/2018
