  I made a Trendbag with Denim Roses as a birthday present for my friend 🌹 I came over this pattern in a BurdaStyle magazine on my holiday :) I had a bit left of the same denim fabric as I used for a  Dress  she got earlier. At first, I stitched the zipper in place between the lining and the facing.   I connected the pocket to the zipper. The facing are stitched to the outer panels. I have iron the seam in place before stitching the facing together.  The hand-straps are stitched together,  - both for the outer panels and for the facing. The side-bottom are stitched crosswise, and cut off. I cut an extra panel for the bottom to keep it steadier. At last I stitched all aroumd the hand-strips. - and the bag is finished :) Pattern from BurdaStyle 08/2020

This is a pattern I have tried a while ago, but wanted to give it a new try. I love colorful fabric and found this in a local store in my home town. It's a sweatshirt fabric and I have used it together with black courtelle jersey that is quite steady. And it became my Birthday Dress!🧡 It's a crazy fabric, but that's what I like 😄 I had to cut the neck band in a double layer, and one with vliseline as well. I stitched the invisible zipper in place before I added the neck-band,  but then I had to use hooks at the top of the back neck-band.  After I stitched the neck-band in place, I could stitch the gathered front to the side panel. I'm ready for celebrating! 🎉 The sleeves are 3/4 long and a bit wide, but they are great. The dress has a split at the left side in front, and that makes it easier to move :)  I have used 2 "diamond" hooks on top of the zipper. BurdaStyle #127 09/2013

Girls love to wear dresses :) I made the dress for her first birthday, but I couldn't wait until then, so she got it a bit earlier 💝 I chose to use a nice band as decoration around the neck.  The short sleeves are gathered, so it seems like small wings. The top is connected to the ruffled skirt at the end. This is just the first ruffle for the skirt. I have used buttons at the back as an easy opening. Burda Special 08-95

I had exacly enoug fabric to make a short jacket for a girl after I made my Colorful Fluffy Dress - and this fabric makes me in a Good Mood! The parts are cut out, but since the fabric is rather light I decided to make lining for the jacket as well. I stitched the welt flap to the front part. The pocket parts are stithced close to the pocket line. I cut between the marked line, and pull the pocket parts to the wrong side. Then the pocket is stitched together.  The welt pocket is stitched to the front panel.  The ribbed jersey collar is attached at the neckline. The lining are stitched in place, - and the zipper is attatched. The sporty girl is very happy with her new jacket! 😊 BurdaStyle Kids 03/23
