Holiday dress with Kimono belt!
I was lucky to find this wonderful viscose fabric when I visited a local fabric shop in Stavanger.
I decided to try a pattern that I have made once before, but with another kind of fabric.
All the parts are cut, and ready for sewing.
I started with the upper part and stitched the shoulder seams.
This is normally the facing, but this time I'm going to stitch it on the right side instead.
Therefore I stitched it facing right on wrong side.
I understitched with a seam very close to the seam so it should stay in place.
Then i stitched the seam around the neck.
This is how it looks like without the skirt.
I stitched the side seams for the skirt,
and connected it to the upper part.
The dress is finished.
I made a kimono belt for the dress at the end.
