Coat for Autumn!

This pattern was a great challenge!

I have used heavy linen that I like a lot,
and polyester satin, that I bought in Amsterdam, as lining.

At first, I made the inserted pocket.
I used the same lining for the pockets.

I stitched a seam close to the seamline.

The front side panels are stitched in place.

The back-panels are stitched together.

The shoulder, and the side-seams are stitched.

The collar-stand and the collar are stitched in place.

The sleeves had to be made.

I have used sleeve-fish and shoulder-pads for the shoulders.

I wanted a nice and cheering-up lining :)

The sleeves are stitched together.

I stitched the lining in place, and I have an opening in one of the side-seams
for turning the jacket afterwords.

I found these fabulous buttons in my stash!

I have used snap-buttons under neath.

The sleeve has a split and a button as decoration.

The inserted pocket is very nice.
