Japanese Button-Up Dress!

This is another Japanese Dress pattern I was qurious to try!

I had to cut all the parts on the floor since the dress was rather long.

At first, I had to make the tunnel for the ribbon at the back,
and make two button holes for the drawstring.

Then I stitched the princess seams both in front- and back panels.

I stitched the side-pockets to the panels.

I have gathered the front neck.

I also stitched the facing for the neck and button-list in place.

The dress has pockets in the side seams.

Then I stitched bias around the armholes and turned it to the inside.

I stitched the side seams and the pockets together before I stitched the hem.

The dress i rather wide without knotting the drawstring.

Pattern from the Japanese Style book 2012.
